'DOUBLE' ONE TON CONGRATS FOR TWO VETERAN GROWERS!
What a pleasant surprise to see these two long time dedicated growers hit the podium in 2017. Joel Holland, Sumner, WA (1992 World Record holder at 827 lb.) squashed all competition in North America with his new USA pumpkin record of 2363 lb. And what a pumpkin it was!
Mr. Holland is to be commended for his dedication, passion and experience on growing ATLANTIC GIANTS for over 30 years.
Joe Jutras from North Scituate, Rhode Island became the first grower in history to produce a 1 Ton squash in 2017 at 2118 lb. Another World Record for Joe who previously grew a World Record Pumpkin and Long Gourd. Not only did Joe grow a World Record squash at 2118 lb, he produced three other massive squash weighing 1701, 1384 and 1252 lb. that he entered at other contests. Truly, a remarkable grower and "Triple Crown" holder of World Records.
These two growers have not only produced record specimens over the past several years but also have provided some of the World's top seeds to growers for their enjoyment. Two amazing growers! Well done!
To all of you who grew a new personal best, new record for your State, Province or Country, congratulations and best wishes from the Dill Family.
As we head into 2018, there is great anticipation for bigger and better pumpkins and our mission will be to continue to provide top quality seed. We are very proud of our 'Dill's Atlantic Giant' heritage spanning the last 37 years and the enjoyment it has sown.
At this time, we would like to thank all of you who have supported us in the past and welcome new customers who aspire to grow big 'ATLANTIC GIANT' PUMPKINS!
